Mary Willis, 88, of Oakland City passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at her home in Oakland City.

She was born March 28, 1924 in Oakland City to John and Nora (Welch) Norrick.

She attended the Francisco Gospel Ministry Church. She was a member of the VFW Post#1147 Ladies Aux. and Oakland City American Legion #256. 

She is survived by her daughter, Dannella Loveless of Somerville; son, Michael (Georganna) Willis of Oakland City; daughter-in-law and caregiver, Hazel Skelton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hector Forrest “Hap” Willis in 1975; two sons, Forrest M. Willis and Raymond L. Skelton; six sisters and five brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Nov. 23, 2012 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Rev. Bob McDonald officiating. Burial will be at the Martin Cemetery in Glezen. 

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
