Bettye Lou Farmer, age 73, of Princeton passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Gibson General Hospital fifth floor in Princeton.

She was born on March 27, 1939 in Wheatcroft , Ky. to William and Jessye Farmer both of whom precede.

She was a registered nurse, graduating from St. Mary’s School of Nursing, working with numerous healthcare facilities throughout her career, some of them being; Gibson General Hospital, Holiday Manor Nursing Facility and Good Samaritan Nursing Facility. She has been an area resident for over 45 years.  

She is survived by her caregiver and close friends Bill and Susan Poyner of Fort Branch.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William “Bill” Farmer.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. until noon at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St. Princeton, IN 47670. We will then proceed to the internment at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton where a graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Gary Watson at 12:15 p.m.
