Joyce A. Trotter, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville.

She was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Evansville, the daughter of Oscar and Dollie (McIntosh) Appel.

Joyce was formerly of St. Charles, Ky. where she had many friends, which she loved and they loved her. She was always kind to anyone she met. She attended Dayspring Church in Owensville.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Patty Trotter; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Young; sister-in-law, Betty Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James E. Trotter in 2002.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Union Temple Cemetery at Dawson Springs, Ky.
