Shirley loved many things:
God, her loving husband and children, and a large host of friends. She was the
most dedicated wife a husband could ever have. She loved most of all her
husband, daughters, grandchildren, and family. Any time spent with them was
treasured and loving memories created. Some of her favorite times were playing
board games and cards with her family. She was passionate about her daffodils,
day lilies, and square dancing. Shirley loved to cook and made the best apple
pie that no one in her family will ever be able to recreate. Shirley was also a
wonderful friend to many. A hole will be left in their lives forever. She knew,
really knew, what it meant to be a friend. She will be forever missed.
Shirley was a member of Our
Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and East Tennessee Daffodil Society, and was
employed with First Tennessee Bank for many years.
