Shirley A. Roach, 67, formerly of Oakland City, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

She was born May 11, 1945 in Oakland City to James and Cleo (Wilhite) Dedrick.

She was raised in Pike County and then lived in Oakland City most of her life.

She is survived by three children, Donald Myers of Washington, Diana Rios of Jasper and Thomas Roach, Jr. of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mary H. Sives of Oakland City; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Bob, George, Ray and Joe Dedrick.

Graveside service will be held at noon Wednesday at Knight’s Chapel Cemetery in Pike County. Burial will follow.

There will be no visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is handling arrangements.
