Jeanne F. Falls Martelli was born April 29, 1925 in Francisco, Indiana to Gilbert Donna (Morton) Falls.

Jeanne passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, on October 11, 2012.

Before “retiring” to Ava from Northwest Indiana, Jeanne was very active in many community organizations while working in the accounting field. After moving to the Ozarks, Jeanne and her daughter Donna began crafting handmade Santa figures which won numerous awards.

Jeanne’s smile, sense of humor, hospitality and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Lou, with whom she shared her life for 59 years; brother Prentice Falls; and sister-in-law Wanda Falls.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter Donna (Ron) Rainbolt of Ava, MO; her son Keith Martelli of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandchildren Ronda (Paul) Spence and Dawn (Kevin) Doyle; as well as four great-grandchildren; Kenny (Heather) Porter, Jennifer (Brandon) Cox, Rebecca (Ryan) Crouse, Sarah (Cody) Frank; and three great-great-grandchildren; Katana Sargent, and Makenzie and Madalyn Porter. She is also survived by her sister Joanne (Bob) Fiscus of Oakland City, IN; two brothers Larry (Connie) Falls of Oakland City, IN, and Phillip Falls of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Interment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. At her request there will be no visitation or services.
