Mary Frances Alvis, age 75, of Princeton, passed
away on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital located in Evansville.
She was born Aug. 4, 1937 in Princeton to William and Mary (Alcorn) Stott, both of whom precede.
In 1970 she was married to
Paul Edward Alvis whom preceded
on April
5, 2012. She was a lifelong
area resident and a homemaker.
She is survived by sons:
Charles (Lois) Alvis of Owensville; Paul (Analiza) Alvis of Princeton; Gary
(Sally) Stott of Carlisle and William (Heather) Alvis.
Daughters: Paula (Jeff) Doan of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; Karen (J.R.) Hall of Princeton and Janice (Roy) Byrns of Princeton.
Other survivors include
brothers: Bill (Joanne) Stott of Crown Point; Pete Stott; Larry Stott of Crown Point; David Stott of Tulsa,
Okla.
She is preceded in
death by her parents, husband and brother, Gene Stott.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670 with Pastor Fred Denton officiating. Internment will take
place in Decker Chapel Cemetery just north of Princeton.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct.
23, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.
