He was preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather Rev. Claude Atkins, several aunts, uncles.

Kalin was a senior at Wood Memorial High School and also welding student at Pike Central High School. He enjoyed baseball, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his father Bill Atkins Of Oakland City, IN; mother: Lori (Hunt) Atkins of Oakland City, IN; bother: Damon (Jana) Atkins of Oakland City, IN; nphew: Berkley Atkins; Paternal Grandmother: Barbara Atkins of Oakland City, IN; Maternal Grandparents: Bob & Phyllis Hunt of Oakland City, IN; special friend: Hannah Wilson of Oakland City, IN.

Funeral services will be Thursday September 20, 2012 10:00 A.M. Oakland City Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Darin D. Nossett and Rev. Mike Atkins will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Thursday at Church.
