Thelma M. Temme, 97, of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at The Waters in Princeton.

 

She was born January 3, 1915 in Pike County to Elmer and Phebe Jane Leach. 

 

She was a telephone operator at the Princeton Telephone Company and later a homemaker.  She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Princeton for over 70 years and a member of the Searchlight Sunday School Class. 

 

She is survived by her sister, Eloise (Melvin) Hungate of Naperville, Ill.; nephew, David Hungate of Naperville, Ill.; niece, Pamela (Tom) Beinduga of Wheaton, Ill.; nephew, Alex; niece, Jaqueline; and caregiver, Anna Mae Akers of Princeton.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Herschel Temme in 1980.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday August 20, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery in Evansville

 

Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. on Monday at Colvin Funeral Home.
