Ellen E. Armstrong Longabaugh, 80, of Hazleton went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, Sunday, August 05, 2012.

 

She was born September 14, 1931 in Hazleton to Lowell & Eunice (Arthur) Armstrong.

 

She was a homemaker and had worked at the PCHS cafeteria. She was a lifelong resident of Hazleton, member of the Hazleton United Methodist Church and attended Evangel Temple/Oasis Church in Princeton.

 

She is survived by her husband Charles G. Longabaugh, married on September 15, 1950; sister Jane A. Harvey; children Cathy (Chuck) Briner, Chuck (Janice) Longabaugh, Greg (Linda) Longabaugh, Mary Alice (Steve) Pittman and Susan (Jeff) Masterson. Also surviving are grandchildren:  Amanda (Jay) Emmert, Aaron (Laura) Briner, Josh (Lisa) Longabaugh, Jamie (Andy) Schafer, Katie (Chad) Ellis, Sarah (Reece) Collins, Stephen (Andi) Longabaugh, Lauren (Joel) Lasko, Meghan (Mike) Olesh, Seth & Ethan Masterson, Logan & Madison Pittman; great grandchildren: Grant & Katarina Emmert, Christian & Addison Schafer, Brylee & Karsyn Longabaugh, Caleb, Blake & Ella Longabaugh, Kelsey & Kenzie Ellis and Barrett Collins.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Hazleton United Methodist Church in Hazleton, with the Rev. Mike Tarner officiating. Burial will be at the Hazleton Community Cemetery

 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
