Roland T. Adler, 85, of Princeton passed away on Sunday Aug. 26, 2012 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
He was born on March 15, 1927 in Gibson County to Will and Nora (Kelle)
Adler.
He was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Princeton.
He is survived by two
brothers, Roy Adler of Evansville and Kenneth Adler of Princeton; and two sisters, Dorothy Chambers of Francisco and Mary Baehl of Newburgh.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; one sister, Roslie Norrick;
and one brother, Fred Adler.
Roland loved children and had
an uncanny ability of remembering birthdays. He spent his last years at River
Oaks where he loved and enjoyed joking with the people there. His family wishes
to thank all the staff at River Oaks and Vista Care Hospice for all the loving
care they gave to him.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be at 10
a.m. on Thursday, August
30, 2012 at St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Ronald Zgunda
celebrant. Burial will be at the St. Bernard Cemetery in Fort Branch.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8:30-9:45 a.m. on Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A Christian Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
