Mary A. Zimmerman, 84 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.

She was born June 26, 1928 in Wheatland, IN to John & Alice Cooper.

She was a nurse’s aide at Gibson General Hospital for over 40 years. She was a member of Alpha Beta Laureate Sorority and the VFW Post #1147 Ladies Aux. 

She is survived by her grandchildren, Levi and David Zimmerman both of Princeton; great grandchildren, Alexis, Rylei, Jonathan and Sophia; brother, Carl E. Cooper; sister-in-law, Jean Cooper of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Heber Zimmerman; son, Barry Zimmerman in 2011; daughter, Cathy Zimmerman in 2006; 4 brothers, John, Elmer, James and Roy Cooper; 2 sisters, Eva Engersoll and Wilma Pierson and a special friend, Dennis Arnold. 

Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday July 12, 2012 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton, with Dr. Gene Siverly officiating.

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
