Mary Janette Wells, 86, passed away July 4, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was a former resident of Bloomington.

Janette was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Owensville, the daughter of Welzie and Elva (Dyball) Jones.

She graduated from Princeton High School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Martinsville. Janette retired from South Central Indiana REMC as the secretary to the general manager.

Surviving is her husband, of 64 years, James W. Wells. They were married May 7, 1948.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Owensville Cemetery with Bart Newton officiating.

There will be no visitation. Holders Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
