Mary Lee Price, 72, of Princeton, passed away with her family at her side Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. 

She was born Nov. 27, 1939 in Centralia, Ill. to E.V. and Pauline Ward.

Mary Lee was a long time resident of Princeton, coming from Mt. Carmel, Ill.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, member of the St. Joseph Bereavement Dinner Committee, Knights of Columbus women’s auxiliary, Literary Club and  secretary of Tri-Kappa Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George R. Price of Princeton. 

She was the loving mother of Cindy (Harry) Wallace, Michelle (Chuck) Kennard, Jim Price and Brian Price (Stephanie Purcell); loving grandmother of Christy, Nick (Andrea), Cassie and Jake Wallace, Andy (Heidi), Jon (Kasey), Chad and Ben Kennard, Zach, Josh and Alexi Price; loving great grandmother of Kennedy and Charlie Kennard, and Elijah Kennard. 

She is also survived by her sisters, Judy Dirkson, Martha Throckmorton and Rachael Barlett; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Tom and Michael Ward.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 9, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda celebrant. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday.
