Jill Hochstetler, 78, of
Jill fought a long & hard
battle with C.O.P.D. She worked at Potter & Brumfield for 25 years and
retired from care giving of the elderly after 16 years. In retirement, she took
care of and enjoyed her great-grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her
daughter, Judith R. (Kenny) Hedges of Fort Branch; four grandchildren, Shellia D. (Ty) Cochran of
Princeton, Jaclyn N. (David) Coomer Jr. of Princeton,
Josh Hedges of Indianapolis, and Kolten Hedges of
Fort Branch; five great-grandchildren, Taylor R. Cochran, Trenton J. Cochran,
Madison M. Coomer, Kaiden
C. Coomer and Zen A. Coomer;
and two brothers, Garrett M. (Shirley) Shafer of Petersburg and Kenneth W.
(Joyce) Shafer of Winslow.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, Garrett F. Shafer and Edna B. Shafer Brock; her grandparents,
William C. Shafer and Grace P. Shafer; and nephews, Anthony B. Shafer and
Kenneth W. Shafer Jr.
Our family wants to give a
special thank you to everyone for all the tender and loving care of Jill and
our family from River Oaks Health Campus and Southern Care Hospice. We also

A Celebration of Life will be
held at 10 a.m. on Thursday July 5, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton,
with Rev. Darin Nossett officiating. Burial will be
