Norma J. Hammond, 88, Indianapolis, passed away July 24, 2012.
She was born July 26, 1923 in Princeton, IN to the late Otis and Gladys Weisgerber
Clark.
Norma married Charles Hammond
on July
26, 1941 and he preceded her
in death on November 27, 2002.
She was employed 25 years at
The Wm. H. Block (Southern Plaza) retiring as a department manager.
Her survivors are daughter Jackie (Gary) Leathers of Indianapolis; sons Jim (Nanette) Hammond
of Greenwood and Jeff (Debbie) Hammond of Shelbyville; eight grandchildren and
14 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by sisters Maxine
Riley, Ann Clark and brother Arthur Paul Clark.
Service will be 7:00 p.m., Friday,
July 27 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4:00 p.m. Until the time of service. Committal will be 10:00 a.m. CDST, Saturday, July 28 at Columbia (White Church) Cemetery, Princeton, IN.
