Bertha A. Dixon, 65, of Francisco passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at her home.

She was born March 14, 1947 in Madisonville, Ky.

She lived in Francisco most of her life and graduated from Francisco High School in 1966. She retired from Hansen Corporation in Princeton and was a member of the American Legion Post 25 Ladies Aux., the DAV Ladies Aux., and the VFW Post 1147 Ladies Aux. where she was president for several years.

She is survived by her four brothers, Kenneth Dixon, Anthony Seale Sr. (Debbie), and Huey Seale Jr. all of Francisco and Robert Seale (Tisha) of Owensville; and her nine nieces and nephews.

Bertha was preceded in death by her father David Dixon and her mother Anna Jean Seale.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Ron Austin officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.

Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. A VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
