James P. “Butch” Boxell, 58, of Princeton, passed
away Tuesday, May 1, 2012
at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
He was born Feb. 22, 1954 in Princeton, to Billy and Betty Jo Boxell.
He graduated from Princeton High
School in
1972. Butch was the Manufacturing/Facilities Manager at Hansen Corp. and had
been there for 40 years. He was a very active member of the Princeton Elks
Lodge 634. He was also a member of the Princeton Moose, Eagles Aerie 361 and
the American Quarter Horse Association. He was an avid Kentucky Derby fan.
He is survived by his mother,
Betty Boxell of Princeton; three brothers, Joe (Karen) Boxell of
Princeton, Chris (Leigh) Boxell of Tennessee and John
(Karen) Boxell of Auburn, Ill.; special companion,
Nancy Bruce; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Billy Boxell in 1990 and a sister, Peggy
Ann Boxell in 1971.
Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Brian Cook. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4
until 8
p.m. Thursday at Colvin
Funeral Home.
