Mary L. (Market) Van Deventer, age 93, formerly of Haubstadt, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO.    She lived in the St. Louis area the past 62 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Van Deventer, Sr., in 2002, a daughter Donna Turpen in 2010 and her parents, Frank and Louisa (Kiesel) market.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Mary Delaney of Bethalto, IL and Jinny Sieferd of Melbourne, FL.  2 brothers; Edward L. Sr. and J Roscoe Van Deventer both of St. Louis. 9 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 1 sister, Alma Maze of Colorado Springs, CO. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:00 AM until Mass time Saturday at the church.
