George E. "Bub" McIntire III, 46, passed away peacefully at his
home on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 to be with the Lord, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 20, 1965 in Princeton and had lived here his entire life.
He graduated from Princeton Community High
School,
class of 1984. He had coached all of his children and many other children in
various sports and enjoyed playing golf, softball and tennis. He was a member
of Hillside United Methodist Church and their choir. George was last employed at TISA
for 9 years and formerly worked for Hansen Corporation, both in Princeton.
He is survived by his wife, Mandy (Winingear)
McIntire; parents, George Jr. and Judy McIntire of Princeton; children, Nathan
(Paige) McIntire, Tyler, Michelle, Lindsey, Braylee
and Ambria McIntire all of Princeton; a soon to be
born grandson, Kameron George Earl McIntire; sisters,
Pam (Randy) Sands of Francisco and Penny (Greg) Mason of Princeton;
sister-in-law, Mindy Winingear (companion, Linda
Hart) of Princeton; 1 aunt, Donna McIntire; 7 nieces and nephews; 4 great
nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, dog "Buddy".
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Sunday,
April 22, 2012 at Hillside United Methodist Church, 828 W 100 N, Princeton, with Rev. Lisa Schubert and Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Burial will
follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, near Fort Branch.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton and again from 1 – 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
