Roger L. Mayer, 53 formerly of Haubstadt, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital.  He was born November 18, 1958 in Princeton, IN to the late Leroy and Elfrieda (Dewig) Mayer.  He worked for ARC Industries.  He resided in Evansville for 33 years.

He was a former member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt.

Roger is survived by 6 sisters; Jeanette Wesselman of Evansville, Jeanine Witham of Evansville, Kathleen Ruff of Caneyville, KY, Barbara Houghton of Evansville, Theresa Pinson of Mulberry, FL and Rose Cotton of Evansville.  5 brothers; Donald of Mt. Vernon, IN, Francis of Owensville, Jerome of Evansville, Thomas of  Owensville and Daniel of Princeton.  Also a large extended family.

A funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt.  Friends may also call from 10:00 AM until Mass time Thursday at the church..
