Retired U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer, Charles David Clark, 67, graduate of Owensville High School class of 62, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his home in Castro Valley, CA.

He was born December 4, 1944 in Gibson County, The son of Wayne and Martha (Fravel) Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Christine; children, Patrick and Pamela Clark, Damon, Adam and Marcus Lessler; grandchildren, Edward and David Clark; siblings, Dan clark and Jean Reagan; several nieces and nephews.

Dave grew up with and was especially close to his niece and nephew Diane Pegram and Kim Kerns.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Durward and Demonte Clark; sister, Joan (Clark) and Elvin Andrew Kerns who played a significant role in his life.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery with full military rites conducted by Navy Operational Support Command Mid-West Region, American Legion Post 51 and VFW Post 1147.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
