John Paul Ashby, son of Jonnie Ann Ashby of Princeton passed away Saturday, April 14th at the Waters of Princeton.

He was born April 10th 1960. 

John graduated from P.C.H.S. in the class of 1978 and attended his 1st year at U.S.I. in Evansville where he sang with the Madrigals. John had a passion for music. He won a scholarship for college from Mid American Singers. He sang tenor at many different churches. He loved being with people but mostly his love was for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

John is survived by his Mother Jonnie Ann Ashby of Princeton, sister Robin (Jim) Schmidt of Evansville, nephews Danny Schmidt and Aaron Schmidt of Evansville, aunts, uncle and cousins and special friends John & Ann Moore. 

Preceding him in death, father Paul Ashby, sister Jo Marie, grandparents Charles & Edna Ashby and Parker & Marie Foster all of Princeton. 

Graveside services will be held at Columbia White Church Cemetery at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, with Joe Sandefer officiating.
