Wanda M. Wade, 86, of
Owensville, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
She was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Owensville, to William R. and Lena Pearl
(Montgomery) McLean.
She was a graduate of Owensville High
School.
She was retired and had
worked at the former Gibson County Bank in Princeton. Wanda was a member of Columbia General Baptist Church and was a former member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary
at Gibson General Hospital.
She is survived by two
daughters, Crystal (Bill) Schafer of Allendale, Ill. and Cyndi Brothers of Owensville; four
step-daughters, Debbie (Tom) Gabe of Evansville,
Darlene Runyon of Owensboro, Ky., Virginia (Mark) Schuh of
Haubstadt and Kathy (Rick) Hickrod of Princeton; 11
grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a nephew, James (Roxanne) Hunt and a
niece, Joann Davis Fitch.
She was preceded in death by
her parents and her husband, Frank Wade in 2011.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Ron Marsh officiating. Burial will follow at Owensville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m.
Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
