Jeffrey Lane "Rabbit" Lloyd, 51 passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

He was born in Francisco, IN on January 5, 1961 to Oliver Ray and Viola Eloyce (Taylor) Lloyd. 

He worked in maintenance at Lewis Bakery in Vincennes. He also owned and operated Lloyd Electric Co. and had previously worked at Hansen Corporation for 18 years. He was formerly a member of the Somerville Fire Department for 17 years and served as chief for several years. He received an Associate Degree in Electronics from Ivy Tech. 

He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Woods and husband Mike of Oakland City; son, Clint Lloyd and fiance' Devin Miley of Somerville; a granddaughter, Chole Kelly of Oakland City; brother, Bill Lloyd and wife Nancy of Cheyenne, WY; sister, Carol Joanne Fulling and husband Allen of Buckskin; Jeff’s fiance', Phyllis Stipanek; several nieces and nephews; 2 sisters-in-law, Shelia Lloyd of Sebree KY and Lura Lloyd of Tuscon, AZ. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers, Don Lloyd, Darrell Lloyd and Randy Lloyd. 

He was looking forward to his sons wedding, which is to take place in September. He enjoyed spending time with his children and granddaughter. 

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 24, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Bill L. Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
