Connie K. Martin, 75 of Francisco passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at her home.

She was born June 5, 1936 in Pike County to Harold Jay and Eloise (Redman) Stapleton.

She was a member of the Francisco Methodist Church. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #1147, American Legion and Eagles Clubs.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mitzi Williams of Spurgeon and Robin (Greg) Lytle of Francisco; brother Carmen Stapleton, Indianapolis, sister Myra Christman, Palm Harbor, Fla.; 5 grandchildren Jamie Wilkerson, Lindsey & Tyler Williams, Heather Becht and Meghan Powers; nine great grandchildren and special companion Bill Jones, Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James D. Martin.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob McDonald officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
