Rose Marie (Thomas) Johnson, 65, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel,Ill.

She was born Aug. 25, 1946 in Princeton, the daughter of William Thomas and Lucille (Belcher) Thomas Hall.

Rosie was living in Mt. Carmel but was a former resident of Owensville. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Mt. Carmel.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Johnson; sons, David (Mitzi) Hutton of Ragley, La., Chris Hutton of Owensville; five grandchildren, Carly Hutton of Owensville, Matthew, Joseph, Christopher and Cassie Hutton of Ragley; brothers and sisters, Louise (Pat) Ridgley, Dottie (Frank) McIntyre, Jim (Grace) Thomas, Richard (Ollie) Thomas and Johnny (Pat) Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Shoultz in 2010; brothers, J.C. and Hubert Thomas; sister, Nancy Luttrell.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Brother Paul McGee officiating. Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
