Wanda L. Southwood,
87, of Portland, Tenn., formerly of Fort Branch, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan.
12, 2012.
She was born to Earl and Clyda (Camden) Schurhardt (both now deceased) on Dec. 14, 1924, in Glendale, Ill.
She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church in Somerville.
Wanda was preceded in death
by her husband, George J. Southwood, on Jan. 2, 1972. She is also preceded in death by her sister, DeLilah Ashby.
Surviving Wanda are four
children, Joy L. Crockett of Russell Springs, Ky.,
Gay L. Frederick of Portland, Tenn., M. Lee Barnes of Indianapolis, and James E. Southwood of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, six great
grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Services for Wanda will be on
Monday,
Jan. 16, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Stodghill Funeral
Home located on Ind. 168 west in Fort Branch. Pastor Joe Collins will officiate. Burial will be in
Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.
Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 15
from 4-8
p.m. at the funeral home, and
continues from 9 a.m. until service
time Monday.
