Peggy J. (Douglas) Peach, 80, passed away peacefully Saturday Jan. 7 2012, at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

She was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Gibson County the daughter of Lloyd R. and Emma Frances (Waters) Douglas.

Peggy graduated from Owensville High School class of 1949.She was a member of the First Christian Church of Owensville and was attending the Owensville General Baptist Church. She had worked at the First National Bank of Owensville and W. B. Johnson Insurance retiring from Schultheis Insurance.

Survivors include her two sons, Douglas (Shelly) of Owensville and Patrick of Evansville; daughter, Candace ( Alan) Falls of Ft. Branch; 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Dylan, Hayden and Ian Peach, Katie, Hadley and Brody Falls; brothers, Fred (Sharon) Douglas of Owensville, and David (Margaret) Douglas of Ft. Branch; special friend and companion Ronnie Anderson; several nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle and cousins.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Billy Douglas; and husband, William Robert Peach on June 27, 1996.

Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family requests that all family and friends come to the Owensville community center following the graveside service for food and fellowship.
