Martha "Joanne"
Vinson, 76, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at Golden Living Center Woodlands.
Joanne was born in Lawrenceville, Ill., on Feb. 22, 1935 to Melvin Wright and Margaret (Seed) Wright King, now
deceased.
Joanne graduated from Princeton High
School. She
retired from St. Mary's as a pharmacy technician and then enjoyed sitting with
the elderly. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Joanne is survived by her
daughter, Pam (Hunt) Chavez of Evansville; son, Greg Hunt of Dallas,
Texas and their father, Don; sister, Mary Katherine
Thompson (Wayne) of Wadesville; brother, Billy Wright (Elizabeth) of Princeton; grandchildren, Ashlee Kunkler (Nathan) of Charlestown, Lauren Chavez (Everett) of Atlanta, Ga., and three great-grandchildren.
Joanne is preceded in death
by her second husband, Melvin Vinson in 1992 and her parents.
Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Browning Funeral Home and
from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday.
