Rosalie C Spindler, 75, of Owensville IN passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Indianapolis IN.

She was born on May 9, 1936 in Ferdinand IN to the late Alfred and Margaret (Ritzert) Mohr.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, the Altar Society, Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John, quilted for the church and the 4-H club and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is also preceded by an infant son Kevin Spindler, a brother, Jerry Mohr and a sister Mary Ann Weinzapfel.

Rosie is survived by her husband of 52 years Leo Spindler of Owensville, IN and 9 children, Randy (Tamara) Spindler , Jeff (Barb) Spindler, Eric (Gayle) Spindler, Terry (Robyn) Spindler, Lisa (John) Kern and Jason (Lynn) Spindler all of Haubstadt, IN, Elaine (Bernie) Goebel of Poseyville IN, Mark (Vicki) Spindler, Stan Spindler both of Owensville, IN, 21 grandchildren, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Brianna, Logan, Delaney, Cameron, Lilly, Mitchell, Jacob, Ethan, Alex, Molly, Adam, Claire and Collin Spindler, Jordyn and Ryan Kern and Olivia, Zachary and Emma Goebel and also 2 brothers Alfred Mohr of Mt Vernon, IN and Henry Mohr of Indianapolis, IN.

A mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church with Father Tony Ernst officiating and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 in Fort Branch, IN and again at 9:00 am till service time at the church. A rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 pm at the funeral home Wednesday evening.
