Michael Eugene Miley, 57, of Petersburg, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.

Mike was born Jan. 1, 1954, in Washington, the son of Oscar Benny and Thelma Berniece Miley.

He graduated from Petersburg High School in 1971, attended Vincennes University, and then began his career as an industrial operating engineer and crane operator shortly thereafter.

Mike is survived by his parents, Benny and Berniece Miley of Petersburg; a sister, Sandy (Ken) Greubel of Princeton; a nieces, Mindi (Brad) Morris of Princeton; a grandnephew Andrew Michael Morris, and a grandniece, Grace Marie Morris, both of Princeton.

Preceding him in death were grandparents Emmett and Grace West, Troy and Marie Miley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to noon. The funeral service is at noon Saturday, with Pastor Jim Harrell officiating.
