Carroll Dana Patterson, 57, of Fort Branch, died Nov. 13, 2011 at his home in Fort Branch.

He was born in Princeton Dec. 8, 1953, son of Harry Patterson and Vonda Jean (Sheppard) Kell. They preceded him in death.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1972-75 and was a member of the Fort Branch VFW Auxiliary Post 2714. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Surviving are his brother, Dave Patterson of Evansville, a half-brother, Tommy Patterson of Hammond, La., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no visitation at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be conducted Friday, Nov. 18, at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch at 2 p.m. with Rev. Art Christmas officiating.

Fort Branch VFW Post 2714, and Haubstadt American Legion Post 194 will conduct military rites.
