Barbara E. Ireland, formerly of Mackey, died Wednesday at Clayberg Nursing Center in Cuba, Ill.

She was born May 31, 1930, in Clinton, daughter of James and Minnie (Gerrell) Harrison.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ireland, in 2000, and also preceded in death by five grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Nancy Lahm of Shelby, Thomas and Stephen Ireland of Astoria, Ill., Naomi Hilton of Modoc, Ill. and Robert Ireland of Monee, Ill.; and 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with burial in Nobles Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Bill Reed will officiate.

Visitation is at 11 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
