Jordan Houchin entered rest at 4 a.m. Sunday (27 Nov 2011) at his home.

He was born Feb. 20, 1987, in Oakland City.

He was a student at Ivy Tech in Evansville and achieved the dean's list. He attended Souls Harbor Church in Evansville.

Surviving are his mother, Jamie Houchin of Evansville; his father, Marty Houchin of Oakland City; grandfather Norwood Adler of Mackey and grandmother Shirley Houchin of Oakland City; his siblings, Jaret (Kristin) Strickland of Newburgh, Josh (Jennifer) Houchin of Evansville, Gabrielle and Alexandra Houchin, both of Oakland City; his aunt uncles and aunts, Kerry Adler and Dean (Sherri) Adler of Mackey and Steve (Jeanette) Adler of Anniston, Ala.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City. Burial is at St. John's Cemetery in Buckskin.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
