Ronald G. Galbraith, 70, Oakland City, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of William and Hazel (Edrington)
Galbraith.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, a brother, William, and a son, Donald Galbraith, in 2010.
He retired after 41 years as
an engineer with Norfolk Southern Railway.
Surviving are his wife of 41
years, Lois (Steinman) Galbraith; sons Bill (Anita) Galbraith and Scott
Galbraith of Oakland City; and three grandchildren, Kelsie
Galbraith of Oakland City, IN., Kyle and Travis Galbraith of Mt. Carmel, IL
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Matt Malin will
officiate.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home, on
Sunday.
