Aloysius A. Greubel, 89, of Haubstadt, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at home. 

He was born Jan. 19, 1922 in Haubstadt to Adam and Christina (Halbig) Greubel.

He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt.

Survivors include three nieces; seven nephews; and several great and great great, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Jean Greubel on July 22, 2009; and a brother, Andrew Greubel.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at the St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, with Father Kenneth Betz as the celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation was 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Home located in Fort Branch and again from 9 a.m. until the service hour on Moday at the church. A rosary was recited by the church parish at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
