Patricia A. May, 80, of Petersburg, died Friday Sept. 30, 2011, at 3:15 a.m. at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg.

She was born July 16, 1931, in Pike County, to Ralph and Blanche (Johnson) McCrary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Froman McCrary and life time companion "Buck" Rothrock.

Surviving are daughters Marcia (Bud) Willis of Petersburg, Sharon (Eppie) Buenaventa of Indianapolis and Roberta (Bob) Fisher of Evansville; son Yerry (Holly) May of Petersburg; sister Karen (Larry) Seymour of Petersburg; brothers Ronnie (Lydia) McCrary and Fred (Patsy) McCrary of Petersburg; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren

She was a homemaker and member of Eastern Star, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary, all in Petersburg.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at White River Chapel Cemetery near Bowman. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
