Margaret Endicott Wetzel, 95, of Princeton, passed away quietly into the loving arms of her Father on Aug. 17, 2011.
Margaret was born in Crossville Ill. to Mary Elizabeth (Spencer) and Leslie David
Endicott, Sr. on Dec. 26, 1915.
She was a very devout Christian her entire
life. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch and Daughters of Isabella, Circle 157. She quietly,
gently and consistently lived her life helping and trying to inspire those
around her.
She graduated from Crossville High
School and Lockyear’s Business School. She was able to live in many states with her varied
and fulfilling jobs when she was younger. She met the love of her life,
Clarence, and they made their home in Marietta Ga. After retirement, they moved to Princeton. Clarence preceded her in death in 1999.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her
daughter, Linda Jane (Bob) Kiesel;
granddaughter, Mary-Margaret (Jeremy) Christian; the shining star of her
life, great-grandson, Tristan S. Christian, all of Fort Branch; her sister,
Marjorie E. (Merlin) Kell of Carmi, Ill.;
sister-in-law, Mary (L.D.) Endicott of Norris City, Ill.; and nieces-in-law,
Ann Kell of ElCajon, Calif.
and Marilyn Kell of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; brothers, Leo Endicott, LD. Endicott, Jr,
Infant bother, Endicott; and sisters, Marietta (Jerry) Henson, Margaret
Catherine Endicott, nephews, Jack Kell and Larry Kell.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 at Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fort Branch.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Chapel
in Ft. Branch. A prayer service and rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. during visitation.
