He was born on
He was the Gibson County Highway Dept.
superintendent for many years. He was also a W.W. II veteran serving in both
the European and Asiatic- Pacific Theater as a heavy machine gunner with the
332nd Field Artillery Battalion of the U.S. Army.
On
He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic
Church as well as the VFW Post 1147 and a 50 year member of the Fraternal Order
of the Eagles 361 of Princeton. He loved to golf and sought perfection in
anything he set his mind to do.
Survivors include daughters, Vicki (Glenn)
Decker of Princeton, Kim (Ken) Hickman of Heath,
He was preceded in death by his parents;
wife; two brothers; and one sister.
Cremation has taken place and internment of
ashes will be at
