Darlene Greentree, 65 of Mt. Carmel, IL, formerly of Princeton, passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at home.

Born Oct. 19, 1945, she was the daughter of Luther and Alois McGill.

Survivors include six children, Luther (Kerry) Greentree of Princeton, Tressa Greentree, Brian Greentree, Christopher Greentree and Timothy (Bridgett) Greentree all of Mt. Carmel, Louise Greentree; two sisters, Grace (Don) Lloyd of Mt. Carmel and Patricia Bullington of Somerville; a brother, Luther (Lisa) McGill of Keensburg, Ill.; five grandsons; 12 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Greentree; five children; and a sister.

 Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor George Prinzing officiating. Burial will follow the service. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
