Betty June (Greek) Dosch,
88, of Princeton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Gibson
General Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.
She was born June 27, 1923 in Princeton to Jesse Ralph and Rosa (Morton) Greek.
She enrolled in the Cadet Nurse Corp in Evansville and studied nursing until she met and married her
husband, Charles in 1946. They were never blessed with children of their
own, but were dearly loved by her nieces and nephews and the many children she
taught in Sunday School at the United Presbyterian
Church in Princeton where she was a member, was the treasurer of the
Women’s Association, served as a trustee and worked on the Nurture
Committee.
Betty retired from Potter & Brumfield in Princeton. She served as a Pink Lady at Gibson General Hospital for many years. Her hobbies are bowling,
biking, walking and family activities including vacationing with her husband.
Betty is survived by her brother, Ralph
Greek Jr; 2 sisters, Juanita Coomer
and Vivian Skelton; nieces and nephews, Greg Skelton, Mike Skelton, Debbie
(Skelton) Hyneman, Tim Coomer,
Benita (Coomer) Murry and
Stephanie (Coomer) Turpin.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; and her husband, Charles Dosch in 2008.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday September 3, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Barry Wynveen officiating. Burial
will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
