Norma
B. White, 87, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, of end stage Alzheimer’s Disease
at the home of her daughter in Noblesville.
She was born May 16, 1924 in Whitehall, Wis. to Thomas and Thea (Estenson) Stalheim.
She was a homemaker. She was a member
of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, an active
member of the VFW Post 1147 Ladies Auxiliary, attending many state
conventions. She did volunteer work at The Waters of Princeton for
several years and made pediatric pillows for the children patients at Gibson General Hospital.
She is survived by her seven children,
Marie Stanley of Madisonville, Ky., Martha Woodall of Denver, Colo., Thomas White of Princeton, Patti Gibson (Jeff) of Princeton, John
White (Charlene) of Princeton, Lilly Kimbrell of Noblesville,
Dr. Edward White of Princeton; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and
a sister, Marjorie Nelson of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, William A. White in 1990; and her son, William A. White,
Jr. in 2008.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda as the celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery in Chrisney. There
will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling arrangements.
