Genevieve "Jenny" Wade, 67, passed
away Wednesday, July 20, 2011,
at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
Born Feb. 27, 1944 in Chandler, she was the daughter of Almon
David and Dorothea Fay (Trainer) Christmas.
Jenny was Wabash Township Trustee, a
member of the First General Baptist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Fort Branch and the American
Legion Auxiliary 25. She was a graduate of Fort Branch High
School
class of 1962.
Survivors include her son, DeWayne Wade of Owensville; daughter, Dorothy (Jerry) Jaquemai of Owensville; two grandchildren, Branden and Mya Jaquemai; sister, Helen Mitchell of Princeton; brothers, Bill Christmas of Griffin, and John Christmas of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, James E. Wade on July 7, 2008; sister, Janice Lynn Christmas; and brother, Harry
Christmas.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Bob
Douglas and Bart Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
