Alice C. Reising, 65, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born to the late Beno and Bertha (Haug) Jochum on Aug. 14, 1945 in Evansville, IN.

Alice had taught many years ago at St. Wendel Catholic School,. She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, and was proud to be a member of the Cursillo # 13

She is survived by her husband Donald Reising of Haubstadt, IN, 2 children, David Reising of Naples, FL, Lori Goedde of Houston, TX, 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Michael Goedde, 6 sisters Virlee Payne of Evansville, IN, Martha Greubel of Haubstadt, IN, Ruth Culley of Evansville, IN, Mary Hirshberg of McCutchinville, IN, Betsy PetitJean, of Warrenton, IN, and Nancy Joyce of Warrenton, IN.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, Father Tony Ernst will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at a later date at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN and again from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Wednesday. A Rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to Stephanie and Matt Stoll for their Kindness and special care shown to Alice.
