Jimmie Dale Gaston, 72, passed away Sunday, July 3,
2011 at the Waters of
Princeton.
He was born March 15, 1939 in Princeton to Dale and Edna (Whiting) Gaston.
He was a retired meat department manager for
Gaston’s IGA and managed the family owned Gaston’s Laundry in Princeton.
Jimmie Dale lived in Gibson County most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of
Eagles Arie 361 and American Legion Post 25. He
enjoyed motorcycles in his younger years and driving through the countryside.
He is survived by two daughters, Dana
Gaston, Tami (Keith) Muckerheide, of Princeton, brother, David Gaston, of Inverness, Fla;, sister, Karen King Plano, Texas; and two
grandchildren, Alyssa and Brantley Muckerheide.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will a military service by the
VFW Post 1147 followed by a time of sharing at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at
the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at a later date at
the Union Community Cemetery.
