Edgar A. Blair Jr. 72, of Oakland City, died Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
He was born Aug. 20, 1938 in Princeton, son of Edgar A. and Versia
(Saulman) Blair.
He lived most of his life in Princeton. He retired in 2002 from Whirlpool after 39 years. He was a member of
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Oakland City. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.
He is survived by three brothers, Billy Ray
Blair of Indianapolis, Don Blair of Chandler, and David Blair of Princeton; two sisters, Vicky Blair of Princeton and Teresa
Blair of Evansville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
infant sister, Patty Blair; and three brothers, Art, Bobby Joe and Charles
Blair.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, Father Ronald Zgunda, celebrant. Burial
will be at Archer Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
