Robert E. Wallace, 81, of Indianapolis formerly of Mackey, Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.

 Born April 4, 1930 in Fort Branch, he was the son of Floyd and Ethel (Riley) Wallace.

 He was retired from Bootz Plumbing in Evansville.

Survivors includes sons,  Richard Wallace of Newburgh, Michael Quinones of The Bronx, New York City, NY, Jim Wallace of Indianapolis; daughters, Karen Wallace, Susan Riley and Diane Butler of Princeton; grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Zach “Pedro” Marcus, Bob, Stacey, Kelsey, Rachel and Shanel, Damarie; and great-grandson, Dylan.

 He was preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Wallace in 1993; wife, Adele in December 2008, brothers, George, Harold, Charles and Jr. Wallace; sisters, Wanda Lee, Martha Wallace and Shirley Broshears; and great-grandson, Dylan.

 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 15, 2011 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev. Kenneth S. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Owensville Cemetery in Owensville,

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and 8 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday at the Chapel.
