Paula Kaye Buckner,
39 years, of Bennett, Colorado, passed away on June 20th, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paula was born in Annapolis, Maryland on October 14, 1971, to Helen (Dix) Mounts and the late Ronald Mounts.
She worked at LABS, Inc. in Centennial, Colorado before her illness.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Mounts of Texas,
grandparents, Lawrence and Lucille Dix of Ft. Branch, Indiana, Paul and Helen Mounts of Owensville, Indiana, and
step- brother James Gerda of Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley and mother, Helen Biggs of Bennett, Colorado, brother, Ken Mounts (Heather) of Lakewood, Colorado, Step- mother Karen Mounts of Terrell, Texas and step-sister Christina. Also,
numerous other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed being with friends and family, volunteering at Bebbett
Elm, and was always at Ashley’s activities. She also loved country music and
following the bands. Her favorite saying was “lovin’ life”.
Visitation was held on Wednesday June 22, 2011 at Aurora Newcomer Funeral Home. Memorial service
will be held June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Strausburg Community Church in Strausburg, Colorado. Reception to follow service.
There will be a
celebration of life for Paula Kaye at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011
at the Fort Branch General Baptist Church.
