Carman Louise Bowman, 89, of Washington, Ind., passed away at Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Washington Nursing Center in Washington.
Born June 6, 1922 in Petersburg, she was the daughter of William and
Helen (Richardson) Spray.
She was a member of the First Christian
Church in Washington and was retired from UniRoyal
in Washington as well as being a self-employed seamstress for many
years.
She attended Petersburg High School. She was living with her daughter and son-in-law in Francisco for
the last two years because of health problems.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Teresa and David Williams of Francisco; grandson and wife, Jeremy
and Angie Williams, of Noblesville; great grandsons, Ethan and Luke Williams,
both of Noblesville; sisters, Delores Johnson, of Petersburg, Gertrude Gladish, of Petersburg, and Margaret and Jim Pirkle
of Washington, Ind.
She was preceded in death her parents;
granddaughter, Crystal Williams on May 19, 1996; and her husband, Morris Bowman in 2003.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (central) Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Gill Chapel in Washington with Brother Steve Dayton officiating. Burial will
be at 12:30
p.m. (central) Wednesday, June
29, 2011 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. (central) Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 8 a.m. (central) until the service hour on Wednesday at Gill Chapel.
